Somerset Mall Ice Rink
Get ready for the coolest school holiday adventure at Somerset Mall! From 24 June to 19 July 2026, Somerset Mall is hosting its very first SM Ice Rink Experience.
Featuring a vibrant disco-inspired atmosphere, this exciting winter attraction promises fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories for children throughout the school holidays.
Designed with safety and enjoyment in mind, the event area will be securely cordoned off with event fencing to ensure controlled access and a safe environment for all visitors.
Our trained skating promoters are on hand throughout the event to guide participants to ensure a safe, exciting and confidence-building experience for young skaters of all skill levels.

Monday to Saturday: 10:00 to 19:00 (Last session begins at 18:00)
Sunday & Public Holidays: 10:00 to 15:00 (Last session begins at 16:00)
Cost: R100 per 50-minute session, which includes skate rental
Age recommendation: The rink is exclusive to children ages 3 to 15 years, though parents can purchase tickets to skate alongside and supervise.
Venue: Undercover parking area near Entrance 4 at Somerset Mall.
