VIP treatment for children
From check-in, children get the VIP treatment. For under-12s, a backpack filled with holiday souvenirs, such as a bucket and spade, beach ball and water bottle, is the first of many surprises. Throughout their stay, complimentary treats, such as soft drinks, milkshakes, ice cream and a whole lot more, are on offer. Healthy child-focused menus are available in all restaurants and on the breakfast buffet.
The fully supervised Holiday Club at the hotel is a drawcard for families. Open daily from 10am to 7pm, children 4–13 years old are welcome. A programme of activities, provided by the trained Holiday Club team, will keep them entertained. A wide collection of games, toys and entertainment, including the use of an Xbox and PlayStation, are also on hand. Special activities, such as baking and pizza-making, are offered during peak periods, including South African school holidays, Easter, Christmas and New Year.
