Kingsmead College Champions Neurodiversity with Groundbreaking Exhibition “Your Brain is a Garden”

Kingsmead College invites families to experience Your Brain is a Garden, an engaging, interactive exhibition running from 12–24 May 2025. Designed for all ages, the exhibition brings brain science to life—showing how children’s minds grow and thrive with sunlight, nutrition, water, play, and learning.

Step Inside the Brain!
Visitors will walk through a larger-than-life brain and explore how mental wellness and development are nurtured by sunlight, nutritious food, water, play, and learning. The exhibition transforms complex brain science into an engaging experience through interactive displays, imaginative play, and evidence-based insights.

A standout feature, The Sensory Space, offers a peaceful, immersive environment that demonstrates how thoughtful design can support emotional well-being and help all children—especially those with learning or sensory differences—feel safe and empowered.

Tickets for school groups and the public are R25 per person, with all proceeds donated to The Sensory Space initiative to support the development of inclusive sensory environments and educational exhibitions.
