British International Preparatory School is part of the international group. Our Group is proud to offer Cambridge International education in South Africa from age 5-19 years.
Our Preparatory School offers Pre-primary (3 to 5 year olds) and Primary (6 to 13 year olds) and our Early Years programme, for 3 and 4 year olds is well supported by internationally trained staff.
We encourage our students to develop higher-order thinking skills including:

Integrated School Day
Our school day ensures that there is sufficient time for high quality teaching and learning of our curriculum as it is meant to be. The day commences at 08:30 and finishes at 15:45 (09:00 to 15:15 for Early Years). This includes two snack times, active education, music, art, drama, computer studies, club activities, reading, and the midday meal which ensures that energy for the afternoon session is at optimum levels.
Sport
Sport is essential to all-round development of the preparatory school pupil. Healthy competition leads to determination to strive for excellence. Sport and physical education forms an integral part of our curriculum.
