The Hazendal Family Bike Park

The Hazendal Family Bike Park at Hazendal Wine Estate offers the following options;175m Pump Track (caters for all types of riders); 800m Flow Trail (caters for all types of riders), a 400m Skills Trail which is aimed at children and beginner riders, and contains optional features to hone bike skills, a 100m kiddies skills trail for riders 8 years and younger which contains optional features to build balance and bike handling skills, and a Y-Bike Trail (kiddies two years plus, on Y-bikes and balance bikes). A large shaded picnic area is a great place to hold parties or relax whilst watching the kids wear themselves out.

Silvermine mountain bike trail

Area: 
Tokai
The 9km circular route passes the reservoir and goes up to Noordhoek Peak before circling back. Drive up the road from the main gate on the west side and look out for the turn off to the right, there is a parking lot with a bathroom where the trail starts.

October–March (summer) 7am–6pm, exit at 7pm and April–September (winter) 8am–5pm, exit at 6pm

Bain’s MTB Trail

Wellington
Follow the blue route (15km), which is a moderate difficulty and will take up to 2 hours. The terrain includes jeep track, single track and rocky river crossings.

R50 permit per day, available from Adventure Cycles or from the Welvanpas Farm (when the coffee shop is open).
